01Who we are

Voltia Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 14654331, with its registered office at 14 Cricketers Close, Stewkley, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, LU7 0FX. References to "we", "us" and "Voltia" mean that company.

02Quotations and orders

Prices published on this website are guide prices for supply and installation. A binding price is the written quotation we send you by email, which is valid for 30 days unless it states otherwise.

A contract is formed when you confirm a quotation in writing and we acknowledge it. We may decline an order where the appliance is unavailable, the site is unsafe to work in, or the installation cannot be completed to a standard we are willing to certify.

03Site readiness

You are responsible for clear access, a working electricity supply, and for gas or water isolation points being accessible and serviceable. Where the aperture, services or access differ materially from what you told us, we may reschedule and charge a return visit fee of £45.

04Payment

Consumer orders are payable in full on completion of installation, by card or bank transfer, unless we have agreed a deposit in writing. Trade accounts are invoiced monthly on 30-day terms.

We may charge interest on overdue trade invoices at 4% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

05Installation standards and certificates

Gas connections are carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers and a certificate is issued on completion. Electrical connections are carried out to BS 7671 and a minor works certificate is issued where the work requires one.

06Warranty

Appliances carry the manufacturer's warranty, which we register on your behalf. Our installation workmanship is warranted for twelve months from the date of the visit. The workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by later alterations, misuse, or blocked or failing services elsewhere in the property.

07Cancellation and returns

Your cancellation and return rights are set out in our Returns & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

08Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence, including damage we cause to your property during a visit. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

We are not liable for business losses. For consumer orders our total liability is limited to the value of the order plus the cost of making good any damage we caused.

09Complaints and governing law

Email hello@voltia.uk and we will acknowledge within two working days and respond substantively within ten. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
